A family tradition... reimagined
Hello, Friends!
We are Ken and Rebecca Kurtz. Willow Tree Ranch was a vision that developed over 15 years of regular visits to the cattle ranch owned by Ken's parents. As time rolled on, we realized that maintaining such a large property was fast-growing beyond their capabilities. Wanting to keep the ranch in the family, and to keep Ken's father's prize cattle brand alive, we purchased the ranch and committed to making Klamath Falls our new home.
With both of us coming from the veterinary industry, we had a pretty good idea of what we were getting ourselves into. Animals have always been at the center of our lives; now we just have a lot more of them. We currently manage a small herd of cattle, a handful of horses, a small herd of goats, and an ever-growing flock of chickens. And we couldn't be happier! This ability to live more connected to nature is one of our favorite parts of living in Klamath Falls.
Realizing the potential of the ranch's indoor spaces was helped by our experiences performing a major renovation of our previous home, but this project was of a much larger scale! After three years of intense planning and hard work, we have added many great aspects to the property, including an indoor gymnasium, three fully-furnished barndominium suites, beautifully manicured front and back yards, and a covered outdoor dining area.
Being able to share the ranch with friends and family (most of them city folk) these past few years and seeing how it affects them to spend time surrounded by life and natural beauty inspired us to share it with others for their special events. We hope you'll decide to join us!
